The Dr. R. N. Mukherjee Memorial Award is presented annually to the author(s) of the best paper published in NJCA.
The award was instituted in 2023 through a generous donation of ₹1 lakh by Prof. V. V. Gopichand Patnaik, Former Dean, Mamata Academy of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, in fond memory of his teacher, Dr. R. N. Mukherjee.
The recipient is selected based on the recommendations of a committee constituted annually for this purpose. The award is presented during the Annual Conference of the Society of Clinical Anatomists.
